Bacon Bubble MachineThe Bacon Bubble Machine
“We made bacon float through the garden. Civilization has peaked.”
Breakfast, airborne
The short version
What happened when we tried it
Pickles and Bear split the duties: one hunted every bubble; the other investigated the machine for structural weaknesses. A small bubble machine loaded with pet-safe scented solution and absolutely no dignity. This is not essential equipment, and we refuse to pretend otherwise. But as dog purchases go, it produced a useful mix of entertainment, curiosity and genuine canine interest.
Best for
Backyards, high-speed reaction videos and dogs who believe the air contains snacks.
The evidence
Good dog. Questionable purchase.
We judge products on what they do in a normal home—not what the box promises in a studio. That means watching setup time, cleanup, durability, the dog's first reaction and whether anyone still wants the thing around a week later.
The good
- Immediate action footage
- Affordable outdoor fun
- Minimal setup
The nonsense
- Use only pet-safe solution
- Can leave a little residue
- Some dogs simply do not care
